Viacheslav Aliabiev has left this world
Today, 11 June, on the 76th year of life after long serious illness Viacheslav Aliabiev the legendary fullback of Shakhtar died. Viacheslav Mikhailovich gave our team the best years of his player career, he helped Shakhtar to win the USSR Cup in 1961 and 1962 with his reliable and stable playing, he was in the list of the 33 best players of USSR according to the season resume twice. Aliabiev’s untimely demise is an irreplaceable loss for national football.
FC Shakhtar presents its condolences to family and friends of Viacheslav Mikhailovich. The legend will be seen off on 12 June at 13:00 at the cemetery “Proletar” (near ТС “Mayak”).
