- We knew that we were facing a tough fight, plus given our rushed preparation due to the events in Donbas, we failed to fully psych ourselves up for the game. We must give the Pitmen proper respect, as their current run of form is great. And the subs bench they have is different from the other teams. In the first half, Kulach had a scoring chance – had he scored, maybe we might have had something to hope for. But actually, the game was under the Pitmen’s control. My congratulations on the victory.
- The situation in Mariupol gets more complicated. How does it affect the players’ mood?
- The situation developing in our city over the past three days, does not add any optimism neither for the players nor for the population. The people from Donetsk and Luhansk, who could feel safe there, are also worried now. It cannot but affect the morale of the players, the club executives and the whole team. We find it very difficult at the moment.
- Will the team continue to be based in Mariupol?
- No, we are ready to consider playing our home games in Dnipropetrovsk, it still has not been removed from the agenda. Let's wait for the return of Dnipro and learn whether they won’t be against our playing at the stadium of Meteor. Most likely, we will receive our opponents there, while the reserves team will play their games nearby, in Novomoskovsk. But this question is still open.
