Shakhtar midfielder of the 1980s-1990s shared his expectations of the Pitmen’s encounter with BATE.

- Belarusians will draw certain conclusions after the defeat and will not repeat their mistakes. They will try to fight back the Orange-and-Blacks. However, I believe that Mircea Lucescu’s charges are individually stronger than the opponents, having a higher class. Shakhtar, like in the previous match, will build their game in the opponents’ half. But they should be wary of counterattacks and act carefully.

- Igor Grigoryevich, can underestimation of the opponents take place in this encounter?
- Champions League is not the competition where you can relax. In such competitions, teams approach each game with top concentration. I am sure that we won’t have to talk about underestimation after the match.

- If BATE once again play open football, will it play into the Pitmen’s hands?
- Yes, in this case, Shakhtar will act in the way they just find comfortable. Besides, such football always turns spectacular, with scoring goals. The fans must enjoy it.

- What is your prediction for this match?
- I think that the Pitmen will win 3-0.
