The Pitmen’s forward answered questions from the club press office on the eve of the friendly match against Dinamo Zagreb.

- Luiz, how did you spend the days off that Mircea Lucescu gave you after Brazilian training camp?
- I visited family and relatives at home.

- You look tired. Is it because of the flight?
- Yes, it took me almost a day to get here. The trip was too long.

- After Shakhtar’s tour in your home country, is it difficult to switch to Spanish training camp?
- No, we are accustomed to such changes. Here, of course, is not as warm as in Brazil, but not cold. The only unpleasant thing is that it is very windy.

- Are you pleased with his current physical form? Especially after tough games with Brazilian giants.
- In Brazil, everything went very well! Each match was really important for us. All is fine, even despite two defeats. Now it is important to work on certain moments, including on the eve of the matches of the Champions League and the Premier League.

- Football experts are saying that Shakhtar’s matches in Brazil were superior to matches of the Champions League group stage. Is that true?
- Hard to say. Top performers play in Brazil, but still it is very different from the European football. Although in terms of difficulty those matches were indeed similar to the Champions League games. If not more difficult.

- What football do you lean to more?
- European. I have been here for a long time.

- In two days, Shakhtar will play with Dinamo Zagreb. They are the champions of Croatia...
- It's great! We know that Dinamo are a very strong team. But now the important thing is to avoid injuries in this match. We will prepare well through this game.
