Shakhtar in national teams: Srna’s role in Croatia win
On 28 March, the Croatia national team played their Euro 2016 qualifier. They faced Norway.

Croatia: Subasic, Srna, Corluka, Vida, Pranjić, Perisic, Rakitic (Schildenfeld, 76), Modric, Brozovic, Mandzukic (Badel, 87), Olic (Kramaric, 70)
Darijo Srna was captaining the squad. He played full 90 minutes on the pitch and took part in the overwhelming win over Norway.
Croatia took the lead after thirty minutes thanks to Brozovic. After the break, Perisic netted Croatia's second goal, and Olic made it 3-0. Norway won a penalty kick on 69 minutes, but failed to convert it, with Srna not allowing the opponents to seize on the rebound.
After Corluka’s sending-off, the hosts were reduced to ten men. Tettey even managed to narrow the gap. However, Croatia responded to that with two more goals. In particular, Schildenfeld headed the ball in on 87 minutes following a Srna cross from a corner flag.
After this game, Croatia keep topping the group H with 13 points.
