FC Shakhtar statement
FC Shakhtar considers it necessary to comment on the situation concerning detention of the U19 team players Oleg Gladchenko, Yaroslav Fursov and Volodymyr Grachyov by Kyiv patrol police.
Regarding this fact, FC Shakhtar officially states: we strongly condemn the behaviour of the aforementioned players. The club considers violation of any law, order and social norms as unacceptable. Players, who violated the law, will suffer severe financial and disciplinary punishment. According to FC Shakhtar decision, they are excluded from participation in the games for an indefinite period of time. In addition, Oleg Gladchenko, Yaroslav Fursov and Volodymyr Grachyov have to apologize to the club, fans and public.
If the players commit such offenses again, they will be expelled from FC Shakhtar Academy.
