Traditionally for the month’s end, the official website of Shakhtar defined the scorer of the best goal for Shakhtar.

10 veterans of the club took part in the poll, alongside the same number of media representatives and visitors to the official website. For every vote by a former Pitman and a journalist, the goal scorer got 1 point, for the third place in the poll on the site - 2 points and for the second and first places - 3 and 5, respectively.

We bring you the vote distribution in each group.

As for the website visitors, a total of 986 people took part in the poll. Of these, 86 (8.72%) cast their votes in favour of the goal by Alex Teixeira against Uzhhorod - 2 points in the overall rankings. The second place belongs to the precision shot by Marlos in the Champions League qualifying round home game against Rapid - 197 (19.98%) points. It gives the Brazilian 3 points in the overall standings. The fans voted for the goal scored by Oleksandr Gladkyy against the same Rapid Wien as the best goal of August. So considered 378 (38.34%) vote participants, which allowed the striker to get 5 points overall.

So, let’s sum up the poll results. In August, the experts were unanimous and marked the goals of three players. The precision goal by Alex Teixeira against Hoverla - 6 points; the goal scored by Marlos in the second leg against Rapid - 11 points. The scorer of the best goal of the past month is Oleksandr Gladkyy, who also put his name on the scoresheet in the home game against the Austrians - 12 points.
