Luiz Adriano: I’ll be missing Shakhtar and the club fans
The Brazilian striker has addressed Shakhtar and the club fans.
- Today, a long and beautiful story, which has taken place in my career, is coming to an end. There have been eight years at Shakhtar, numerous trophies, including six Ukrainian league titles, four Ukrainian Cup victories and the UEFA Cup. I am very grateful to the club for believing in my football and giving me the opportunity to play in Europe. Special thanks to the president Rinat Akhmetov – who is always very sensible, coach Mircea Lucescu – who is like a father to me and my teammates, who has helped me reach this level. I would like to say thank you also to the fans, who have supported me all this time. I'll be missing Shakhtar and the club supporters!
