Most of January the Pitmen will spend in Brazil. Here, Mircea Lucescu will play 5 matches in four cities. Our site has already been talking about Rio de Janeiro, where the team will live and train, and Salvador, where Shakhtar will hold its first friendly.

The next stop is Brasilia - the capital of this South American country. By the way, the third one after Salvador and Rio. It is located in the heart of the country, on the Brazilian Highlands. When deciding on a place for the city, they were choosing a place located as far as possible from the other major industrial centres in Brazil - Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.

Brasilia was designed by prominent architect Nemeyer (not to be confused with Neymar) during a year, and its construction in the desert area was completed in record time. Just three years it took to create a huge modern city. In the drawings Brasilia resembles the outline of the plane. In the "wings" of the scale of more than 12 km - residential areas, divided into neighborhoods with apartment buildings and individual houses. In the "fuselage" - squares, descending from the station to the lake - governmental and public buildings that stand out the original architectural concept. The central part reserved for the sector of hotels, shops, banks and more. In the "tail of the aircraft" are urban municipal institutions, and in the "pilot cabin" – federal ones.

On the football arena on behalf of the capital plays the club with the same name and FC Gama and their main rival - Brasiliense, although officially it is considered that this club is located on the outskirts of Brasilia - Taguatinga. Today Brasiliense is one of the youngest and most rapidly developing clubs in Brazil.
